Group TWICE has attracted a total of 1.5 million spectators for its fifth world tour.
Twice performed “TWICE 5TH WORLD TOUR “READY TO BE” in Japan” (Ready to Be in Japan Special) as part of its fifth world tour at Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa, Japan, for the first time in the history of overseas female artists on the 27th and 28th, and successfully completed the world tour that lasted for a year and three months.
Through a large-scale world tour of 51 performances in 27 regions around the world, TWICE performed for the first time among female groups in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York, as well as on the stage of global mega-performance venues such as Japan, North America, Australia, Europe, Southeast Asia, and South America.
Twice, which began its world tour at KSPO DOME (Olympic Gymnastics Stadium) in Songpa-gu, Seoul in April last year, held its first four local concerts since its debut in Sydney and Melbourne, Australia in May, and proved its powerful ticket power by selling out all seats. In June and July, it became a “global stadium headliner” by selling out its performances at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles and MetLife Stadium in New York, which are considered the largest stadiums in the U.S. for the first time by a female group around the world. In particular, it proved its overwhelming global status by gathering a total of 250,000 people, the largest number of audiences by North American tour, through 13 performances in nine regions, including Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Toronto, Canada, New York and Atlanta.
In September last year, he made his first European tour since debut in London, Paris, France, Berlin and other cities, before holding concerts in Singapore, Bangkok, Thailand, and Bulacan in the Philippines to expand his global influence. In November, he had his first solo concert at Marvel Stadium in Melbourne, Australia, and sold out for the first time among K-pop girl groups at Allianz Parkey in Sao Paulo, Brazil, in February this year. He also solidified his position by making the list of successful performance halls for large stadiums that can accommodate tens of thousands of spectators, including Jakarta International Stadium in Jakarta, Indonesia, Mexico City Porosol, Mexico, and Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
TWICE achieved a remarkable achievement by setting a milestone of more than 1.5 million cumulative audiences through this world tour.
Twice became the first female artist to enter the Nissan Stadium and attracted a total of 140,000 viewers for the second concert alone. Twice presented the best performance at the Nissan Stadium, which they said had been a long-cherished dream, while ONCE (fandom name) cheered and completed the meaningful time.
TWICE completed the concert of Janma Stadium Nagai in Osaka and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo for the first time in K-pop girl group history in May 2023, and added a total of four dome performances at Banderin Nagoya Dome and Fukuoka Paypay Dome in December, attracting a total of 370,000 spectators in just eight performances in the region. Twice, which visited Yanma Stadium Nagai in Osaka and Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo again in July this year for the first time in about a year and two months as part of its fifth world tour, attracted 360,000 audiences through six performances in Japan this year, including Nissan Stadium on the 27th and 28th. As a result, it has re-proven its powerful influence by gathering 730,000 people with 14 performances in Japan in 2023 and 2024.
Attention is focusing on where TWICE’s next move will be after they wrapped up their fifth world tour around the world.
